South Fork Sixteenmile Creek Fish Barrier – Bozeman, MT

This project included building an access road to the site, dewater the creek, form and pour in place a 90 yard concrete structure in creek bed on bedrock, and placement of structural backfill. Battle Ridge Builders worked with the the Montana Fish, Wildlife, & Parks and the Forest Service on this project.

Cottonwood Flume Repair – Hyalite Canyon, Bozeman, MT

Battle Ridge Builders built this for the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation and was given only 30 days to complete. This project had difficult access, only allowing foot traffic. Battle Ridge Builders had to carry all the structural concrete & steel; up to half a mile.

Battle Ridge Builders self performed all aspects of construction including fabricating & erecting structural steel, cutting existing footings, epoxing rebar cages and pouring new footings on top of the existing concrete. This project included unique flume construction, using rolled steel bands, to bend 18 gage steel pan.

Benton Lake Water Control Structure – Great Falls, MT

This project was located on a national wildlife refuge. For this project Battle Ridge Builders created a coffer dam, removed the drawdown gate valve, installed an Agri-Drain water control structure, connected the Agri-Drain WCS to existing 6” dia. PVC pipe, fabricated and installed the slide gate out of billet aluminum. Battle Ridge Builders were also involved in the shaping of downstream channel side slopes, installation of rock riprap, repair of numerous muskrat runs in embankment, and roadway reconstruction.

East Brewer Check Structure & Canal Lining – Musselshell, MT

Battle Ridge Builders, LLC removed the existing check structure, replace it with a poured in place concrete check structure, installed a new slide gate, cleaned and reshaped the canal, lined the canal with geofiber, placed riprap and installed walkway and handrails. Total construction time lasted 19 days.

French Creek Culvert Replacement – Gallatin National Forest, MT

Battle Ridge Builders replaced an existing 48″ culvert with a new 36-foot precast concrete bridge and gabion foundations.  The site was extremely inaccessible, the 48,000 lbs bridge sections were shuttled using heavy haul trailers and a 70 ton crane.

Sand Creek Culvert Replacement – Watford City, ND

Battle Ridge Builders completed this in three weeks for the USDA, which consisted of building a detour, removing the old culvert and replacing it with a new precast three sided box culvert. Battle Ridge showed their skills and knowledge by completing a majority of this project while the USDA was shutdown and key personnel where on furlough due to the lack of government funding.

Fort Maginnis Bridge – Lewistown, MT

Battle Ridge Builders removed a collapsed bridge and replaced it with a pre-fabricated steel bridge that had a 61 foot span. This project included placing two 26,000 lbs bridge sections, pounding 40 foot H-piles, and complete site work restoration of the streambed and embankments.

The Solberg dam repair was a cooperative project between Battle Ridge Builders and Ducks Unlimited. To improve wildlife habitat near Ray,ND. This project required removing an existing spill way, backfilling, and pouring a new spill way to prevent erosion. This is the second project done for Ducks Unlimited.
